On Yahoo! Radio there is an old sound bite that comes on every once in a while. It is a White sounding announcer who asks a question and a Black sounding older man. It goes something like this: Q: "What is the worst mistake a Negro can make in the United States today?" A: "The worst mistake? The worst mistake is just being here."
Soundbite over.
No explanation of why the sound bite is even there, no explanation on the context of the bite. It is short and sweet & and abruptly ends. Cue happy, swingy music... Seems as though nothing has changed.
