Just Something I read...

Did you know that Black women today are the most highly educated women in the United States? There are more Black women phds awarded, on average, than any other ethnicity.

The Root reported, "According to the National Center for Education Statistics, between 2009 and 2010, black women earned 68 percent of all associate degrees awarded to black students, as well as 66 percent of bachelor’s degrees, 71 percent of master’s degrees and 65 percent of all doctorates awarded to black students."

We are amazing! Yet we are also hated and satirized mercilessly. Have you seen the amount of jokes being perpetuated by... EVERYONE against the Black woman? I'm guilty of laughing at jokes from "Bon Qui-Qui, Blameitonkway, Titi, Joanne the scammer" and others who seem to do nothing but continue to satirize the beautiful, educated black woman. Why do we (african americans) continue to do this to ourselves and allow others to do the same?
