A house divided

President Abraham Lincoln said, "A house divided against itself cannot stand." Lately, the United States has been anything but one union.

It was slaves freedom, a civil war and a president with a forthought to not punish those who "were on the wrong side of history."

What's going to happen now? How are we going to once again be a one union? But even then, after the civil war, former slaves were under the Black codes and Jim Crow laws. Has this union ever been unified?

I'm just ready to leave here.
