"Unsteady" by X Ambassadors
I've been feeling very unsure about myself and all my decisions lately; not sure if I should move forward or stay behind. If I should possibly turn right or left and especially what to do next. I'm having a hard time focusing and troubleshooting the most basic of things. I feel like Dr. Susses quote, “So be sure when you step, Step with care and great tact. And remember that life's A Great Balancing Act."
Every stunt I do, I'm getting points deducted from the score of life. Like I showed up to the Balance Bar wearing snowshoes and carrying a fish tank; neither one designed to help me get through the routine of life. I am old but feel like I still need training wheels on adulthood.
I feel like both the mom and the dad in this song; alone and trying.
Hold Hold on Hold on to me 'Cause I'm a little unsteady A little unsteady
Hold Hold on Hold on to me 'Cause I'm a little unsteady A little unsteady
Mama, come here Approach, appear Daddy, I'm alone 'Cause this house don't feel like home
If you love me, don't let go If you love me, don't let go
Hold Hold on Hold on to me 'Cause I'm a little unsteady A little unsteady
Hold Hold on Hold on to me 'Cause I'm a little unsteady A little unsteady
Mother, I know That you're tired of being alone Dad, I know you're trying To fight when you feel like flying
If you love me, don't let go If you love me, don't let go
Hold Hold on Hold on to me 'Cause I'm a little unsteady A little unsteady
Hold Hold on Hold on to me 'Cause I'm a little unsteady A little unsteady
Hold Hold on Hold on to me 'Cause I'm a little unsteady A little unsteady
