And tonight, I write

Most of you know that I am in the throws of writing my dissertation. It has been so long and takes so much time and dedication.

Recently, I started to talk to a new person. He works a crazy amount of hours but thinks I am the one who is crazy. Every night he asks what my plans are for the evening. And every night I say, "I'm gonna work on my dissertation."

It's what I do every night. From 8:00 am to 5:00 pm I work my full-time day job. Every night between 7:30 pm and midnight, I am working on my dissertation. Even most weekends I spend at least 7 hours working on this document. Sleep only happens between 12:30 and 5:30 am.

Last night I was able to turn in my 3rd chapter (out of five). My professor has already read it and wants some minor changes. I can get them done rather quickly. But I've been working so hard that tonight... I'm gonna take a break, dang it! I'm tired!

HA!

But tomorrow, I write.
